The 11th Tehran International Animation Festival’s National jury panel members are announced.

According to the announcement of the International affair of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, the members of the national jury panel of the11^th edition of TIAF are Hamed Jafari, Ravanbakhsh Sadeghi, Farrokh Yekdane, Sa’adat Rahim Zadeh, Amir Mehran.

Hamed Jafari is chairman of the board and managing director of Seven-Stones arts/cultural foundation, and Pouya Art Group. He is producer and executor of some short and feature animation movies like as Princess of Rome and The Elephant King.

Ravanbakhsh Sadeghi is director, writer, designer and producer of many films. Besides a member and secretary of cinema house directors board, CEO and directors board chief of Iranian cinematic forum of animation filmmakers (ASIFA), he is an animation lecturer at IRIB’s broadcasting university. He has been member of the chief executive officer and jury panel of various festivals, and winner of various national and international awards in animation and visual special effects.

Farrokh Yekdane received his MA in animation from Tarbiat Modares University.

He is an animation director and screenwriter who has lectured in the Art University, Tehran University, and IRIB’s school of broadcasting. Besides winning many international awards, he has made over seventy commercials.

Sa’adat Rahim Zadeh is an animation director and university lecturer. Her short films have won several prizes from national and International festivals. She has been a member of jury panel in different film and animation festivals.

Amir Mehran is a graduate of animation directing from the Broadcasting faculty of IRIB and also a member of Iran ASIFA. He has participated in over one hundred international and national festivals and has been awarded thirty-six prizes. He is a member of Iranian Youth Cinema Society as well as the Association of designers and directors of Iranian Cinema Advertising. He has directed over ten animated films and more than thirty commercials.

According to this announcement, among 583 national submissions, 99 animated short films have been selected via the 11^th TIAF selection committee. The selected short films are being judged by the selection committee.

The 11^th Tehran International Animation Festival will be held on March 3-7, 2019 under supervision of Mohammad Reza Karimi Saremi. The National and International selected films will be screened for the artists and Interested audiences at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young adult movie theaters.
